The increasing need for efficient surface cleaning techniques in various industries has spurred extensive investigation into laser ablation. This study directly evaluates the efficiency of pulsed laser ablation for the detachment of both paint films and rust oxide from steel substrates. We noted that while both materials are susceptible to laser ab
